A mother-daughter duo from Auckland making some of the softest, most considered knitwear you'll find — cashmere, mohair, and silk, naturally dyed and ethically made.

Wixii is one of those quiet brands doing everything right without shouting about it. Run by mother-daughter team Shelley and Georgia Hembrow since 2016, they create relaxed, earthy knitwear and basics using natural fibres and hand-dyeing techniques. They also curate vintage alongside their own pieces, which tells you a lot about how they think about fashion — it's not just about making new things, it's about valuing what already exists.

The Materials

Cashmere, mohair, silk, cotton, and bamboo — all natural, all considered. Their cashmere comes from small family farms they know and trust, their mohair and merino are traceable and spun in small New Zealand mills, and they use OEKO-TEX certified natural dyes. They're even developing their own plant-based fabrics. No polyester anywhere.
